Water Fall Loop 3.5hrs

I tried out my new Hunter Cycles 29er SS. Steel Frame and rigid fork with custom dropoputs made by Rick @ huntercycles. Performed nicely and felt good on decents. The only adjustment will be a fixed wheel, I've lost my balance with a freewheel.

Top of the Table

I rode the Crosscheck from town up to Tablerock. Hiked the mile to the top, then decended into the Gorge for a swim.

Still Riding!

High Gas Prices=from town cross bike ride. Hundred 81 to Craig & into Wilson's back over John's via some dirt and pavement. Total time just under 4hrs Fixed allday.

Saturday Ride

Johnny and I climbed hundred 81 to trail head
then decended into Raiders and Harper creek.
After Cooling off traveled to
Wilson's creek then climbed Craig creek
back to hundred 81 for 30 miles of Fixed Fun!
I got to try out the 1x1 fixed with 34x17 and little Wheels.
The 26er climbed faster but was more harsh on the decents.
Good ride!

Morganton to Top of Table Rock

Johnny and Geezer set out from Morganton to the Top of Table Rock Mountain. via Greenway to hundred 81 to Table Rock Road and then hiked to the top. We enjoyed some views,Dirt, and paid tribute to the Gods atop the Table with Coffee.
Thats all I got to say about that.

Mt Mitchell Cross Ride

Geezer and I set out from Old Fort elevation 1438 >Curtis Creek>Parkway up to Mt Mitchell elevation 6578. After several Mr Pibs decended The Old Toll Road to Montreat to Black Mountain then onto Old 70 back to Old Fort. Total Miles 55 miles

5 miles from 100miler Road Ride!

Geezer and I set out today with no direction except to ride! Ending the day with over 10,000ft elevation and 5 miles under 100. Total Ride time 7Hrs. Geezer and I were well unequiped for this ride with Fixed gearing of 68" for the day! The Challenge started acending 321 to Blowing Rock! Good Ride!

Hardest Old Ride this year!

Todays ride used 36x16/18 fixed gearing up and around the County.
To Hot for the camera, sweat and rain. Total time 6:49 moving time 6:19
