A Tourist Stops By

There`s nothing quite like experience. Chris offers good advice to "Mike",a young man with a strong spirit who dropped by Tablerock Cycles on his way to the Carolina coast from south western Colorado. - At 23 years of age some of the best memories of his life are likely being etched into his life story.
Maybe we`ll get to see him pass through again some day (on a fixed gear of course).

young customer

15 month old Bryce seems to know what he wants - maybe a wobble knot fitting and who knows ? throw in a puppy and maybe some blue paint and this deal could work.

Half way up the mountain

Half way up the mountain can still get a lot of the good out of you.Monday`s ride was just about 4 hours but a good day as there were a few hills,a pit stop or two with some filtered water and a bite to eat, and the first time to be joined by Eric who put his great looking new RedLine bike through it`s first off pavement go. - Getting away from traffic and getting snowed on in April. We had to be doing something right. - The old guy just wants to be taller when he grows up.

where to from here?

Another Proud owner of a Redline!

Billy Burns aka Bo Duke! Stopped in to Kooters Garage to get his brakes adjusted!

Back country fixie baptism - continued

Slippery rocks, mountain water in March about a foot higher than it needs to come up to - all in all , very good training.

Peaceful pit stop

Stopped here for the view and then circled it to get on a trail that criss crossed the creek many times. Over and under fallen logs, sharp ledges, lots and lots of up hill and the next thing you know the day is winding down and the body is ready for a recharge. Very very good training I think. Feels like it anyway.

Good Times in March

Dag gum Bear tracks !
Taking inventory above the falls. Most of the day is still ahead. March 17 gruelathon was just beginning - about 7 1/2 hours of character building.
About as good as it gets. Fixed gear - water filters-bag full of food and stuff for just in case.
The trail was best pushed in places.
A wide part of the trail.
